Will I need a passport and visa for this trip?

All guests entering Mexico will need a passport for their stay.  It will need to be valid for at least six months after your date of departure from Mexico.  Customs will require two blank pages in your passport for processing your entrance and return.  We recommend that you make photocopies of your passport and leave one copy at home with family members; the other copy should be carried in your purse or luggage.  In the event that your passport is lost or stolen, this will make re-issuing of your passport much easier. 

 

A visa is not required to enter Mexico, but you will be required to fill out an Immigration Form upon entry to Mexico, which will be provided during your flight.

 

Can I extend my stay at Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos?

The program covers four (4) nights at Le Blanc for guests from Australia and New Zealand, and three (3) nights for guests traveling from the UK and USA.  If you are interested in extending your stay at your own cost, please email support@SGexcellenceclub.com and we will coordinate with the hotel to determine availability and pricing.

 

May I bring a guest to participate in this trip?

Absolutely, one adult guest (over the age of 18) is included in the Excellence Club program.  Your guest is invited to participate in all functions.

 

What is the program attire?

For the entire program, we recommend resort casual attire.  Please make sure your attire is brand appropriate (no offensive language or imagery).

 

What should I pack for Cabo San Lucas?

What will the weather be like?

In May, Los Cabos experiences warm, dry, and sunny weather, marking the transition from the pleasant spring season to the hotter summer months.

Temperature: Daily high temperatures typically range from 80°F to 90°F (27°C to 32°C), with occasional spikes higher into the 90s°F. Low temperatures at night are comfortable, generally around 61°F to 71°F (16°C to 21°C).

 

Rainfall: May is one of the driest months of the year, with a very low chance of rain (around 1%). Any precipitation is usually minimal, so you can expect mostly clear, sunny days.

Sunshine: The area enjoys abundant sunshine, with an average of 12 hours of daylight per day.

Humidity: The relative humidity is around 59%, which is considered comfortable, though it starts to increase slightly toward the end of the month.

Wind: May can be the windiest month of the year on average, which can make the area feel breezy and comfortable during the day.

Ocean Water Temperature: The average sea surface temperature is around 72°F (22°C), which is suitable for swimming and water sports. 

 

What time zone will I be in?

Los Cabos is in the Mexico Pacific Standard Time Zone (GMT -7).

 

What is the exchange rate and currency used?

Mexico uses the peso, and exchange rates can be found here.  Although Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos is all inclusive, you may want a little bit of cash available for tipping or for gift items during your stay.

 

Will I be responsible for any charges at the hotel?

No, Le Blanc is an all-inclusive resort and all fees, including tax and gratuities, are covered on behalf of Simpro Group.

 

What type of flight class is covered for my flight?

Simpro Group is providing airfare in the Economy fare for all guests traveling from the US and UK, and Premium Economy for any guests traveling from Australia or New Zealand.  Guests are welcome to upgrade their flights at their own expense.
